Welcome to the Younger Generation website
The Younger Generations team work together to assist presbyteries, congregations and communities of faith and their leaders and chaplains, in engagement with and by younger generations. The team focusses particularly on strategic outcomes that assist in growing faith formation, discipleship and leadership formation in children, youth, young adults and their families.
Working as a team, each team member has a specific focus and contribution:
- Younger Generations - Digital and New Communities
Kelly Skilton (she/her) partners with leaders working in or creating digital or new communities of faith. New expressions of church and faith benefit from specialised and experienced support to build safe and vibrant communities. Nia Lavaki has a focus on developing faith, discipleship and leadership in 1.5 and 2nd generation migrant communities. She works with lay and ordained leaders to articulate the complexities that living across cultures holds for young people. Sandy Brodine assists in growing formation pathways for younger generations leaders, growing resources for faith formation, and engaging with ecumenical partnerships in children and families, youth and young adults ministries.
